As a construction laborer in commercial roofing, you will play a vital role in the installation, repair, and replacement of roofs during the construction of new buildings and the renovation of existing commercial structures. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing water and weatherproofing tasks and installing and repairing various types of roof systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a construction laborer, you will be responsible for the following:
Set up, use, and maintain manual and power tools required for roofing tasks, ensuring efficiency and safety.
Conduct thorough inspections of roofs and roof surfaces to assess their condition and identify any areas in need of repair or replacement.
Skillfully install, repair, and replace roofs, employing industry-standard techniques and materials to deliver durable and reliable results.
Apply effective waterproofing solutions to protect roof surfaces from moisture and weather-related damage, ensuring long-lasting functionality.
Safely install ladders to provide access to roofs for yourself and other team members, maintaining a secure work environment.
Possess knowledge of basic low slope roof systems and their appropriate application, utilizing your expertise to enhance project outcomes.

Working Hours:
The typical work week for this position is Monday through Friday, from 6: 30 am to 5: 00 pm. However, during peak seasons, there may be a need for additional hours and weekend work to accommodate project demands.
