Position Summary:
Are you an experienced and reliable Electrical Assembly Technician with a passion for precision and electrical systems? We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team at Force Personnel. As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will play a pivotal role in assembling electrical control systems in an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) environment. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient operation of our systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Connecting wires to circuit breakers, fuse holders, power supplies, transformers, and other components.
Conducting repairs or replacements of wiring, equipment, and fixtures using both hand tools and power tools.
Assembling electrical or electronic wiring equipment on panels, equipment, and components using hand and/or power tools.
Testing electrical systems and ensuring the continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and clamp-style amp meters.
Utilizing a variety of tools and equipment, including power equipment, measuring devices, and power tools.
Qualifications / Prior Experience:
To excel in this role, you should have:
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in the electrical field.
Knowledge of electrical systems and their functions.
The ability to solve electrical equations.
The skill to match or detect different wire types, colors, and sizes.
Proficiency in making precisely coordinated movements of the fingers to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet).
Work Environment:
Your work will be performed in a non-climate-controlled facility with moderate noise levels that exceed OSHA limits, necessitating a hearing conservation program. You should be able to:
Lift 25 50 lbs.
Walk, talk, sit, stand, and communicate verbally continuously throughout the scheduled shift.
Work overtime when necessary.
