Key Responsibilities: As an Electrical Assembly Technician, your role will encompass a range of essential duties to ensure the seamless assembly and functionality of electrical control systems:
Connecting wires to circuit breakers, fuse holders, transformers, power supplies, and other components.
Utilizing hand tools and power tools to repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Assembling electrical or electronic wiring equipment on panels and equipment using precise hand and power tools.
Conducting tests on electrical systems and circuits using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and clamp-on style amp meters.
Applying your expertise in working with a variety of tools, power equipment, and measuring devices.
Demonstrating a deep understanding of electrical systems and their functions.
Solving electrical equations and accurately matching wire types, colors, and sizes.
Exhibiting manual dexterity and coordination to handle small objects effectively.
Ensuring attention to detail and precision in every aspect of your work.
Qualifications / Prior Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in the electrical field
Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
Work Environment: The work environment involves performing tasks in a non-climate-controlled facility with moderate noise levels that exceed OSHA limits, necessitating a hearing conservation program. The role requires the ability to:
Lift 25 – 50 lbs.
Continuously walk, talk, sit, stand, and communicate verbally throughout the scheduled shift
Work overtime when necessary
