Entry-Level Automotive Technician

Force Personnel is looking to fill a full-time Entry-Level Automotive Technician position with a busy automotive operation in the Oklahoma City area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic automotive maintenance experience who wants to build a long-term career in the industry. The ideal candidate will be dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable working in a shop environment, and eager to learn from an experienced team.

Position Summary

The Entry-Level Automotive Technician will assist with routine vehicle service and basic mechanical maintenance. This position is best suited for someone who has experience completing oil changes, checking fluids, using automotive tools, or helping with general mechanic work.

The selected candidate will work approximately 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Some overtime may be mandatory depending on workload, while additional overtime may be optional.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine automotive service and maintenance.

  • Perform oil changes and replace vehicle fluids.

  • Check fluid levels and identify basic maintenance needs.

  • Complete entry-level mechanical tasks under proper direction.

  • Use basic automotive tools and shop equipment.

  • Assist experienced technicians as needed.

  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

  • Help maintain a safe and efficient shop environment.

  • Follow instructions, safety procedures, and company guidelines.

  • Complete additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.

 

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience completing oil changes or general mechanic work is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of automotive tools and equipment.

  • Interest in developing a career in the automotive industry.

  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new procedures.

  • Dependable, punctual, and motivated to work.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be available for a full-time, 40-hour workweek.

  • Must be willing to work mandatory or optional overtime when needed.

 

Pay and Schedule

Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week

Overtime: Available based on workload; some overtime may be mandatory

Work Location: In person
