Final Assembly Technician – Manufacturing
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
Department: Final Assembly
Work Environment: Climate-Controlled Manufacturing Facility
This Is Not a Typical Assembly Position
We are hiring Final Assembly Technicians for a specialized manufacturing department in Oklahoma City.
This is not a traditional assembly-line position where you perform the same task all day, every day. Final Assembly is one of the most hands-on and physically demanding areas of the manufacturing process. The work can change from day to day depending on the equipment being built, production needs, and the stage of the project.
Employees in this department help complete large, custom-built commercial equipment using hand tools, power tools, measurements, mechanical components, and carpentry-related skills.
We are looking for candidates who are dependable, physically capable, comfortable working with tools, willing to learn, and ready to work.
If you are someone who likes staying busy, figuring things out, working with your hands, and taking pride in seeing a finished product come together, this may be the right opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Final Assembly Technician, you may be responsible for:
Completing final assembly of large commercial equipment and components
Using a variety of hand tools and power tools throughout the workday
Measuring, cutting, fitting, positioning, and fastening materials and components
Reading and accurately using a tape measure
Following drawings, diagrams, production instructions, and specifications
Installing different components depending on the equipment being manufactured
Lifting, positioning, and maneuvering heavy materials during assembly
Performing basic carpentry-style assembly and fabrication work
Making adjustments to components to ensure proper fit and alignment
Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy
Identifying problems and correcting basic assembly issues
Working closely with other team members to complete custom projects
Maintaining an organized and safe work area
Following all established production and safety procedures
Learning new assembly processes as production needs change
Assisting with additional production responsibilities as needed

Able to take direction and apply what they have been taught
Willing to jump in and help wherever needed
Comfortable with work that may change from one day to the next
Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality
Detail-oriented and capable of solving basic problems
Team-oriented while still taking ownership of their individual work
We especially want candidates who are go-getters and are looking for an opportunity to learn, develop their skills, and become valuable members of the production team.

Steel-toe shoes or boots
Safety glasses
Cut-resistant gloves
Protective arm sleeves
Bump cap

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Final Assembly is different from other areas of production.

Are You the Right Fit?
This position is best suited for someone who can come to work every day ready to move, learn, and contribute.
If you are dependable, physically strong, comfortable using tools, able to read a tape measure, willing to learn, and aren't afraid of challenging hands-on work, we want to hear from you.
This is not the easiest department in the facility, but for the right person, it can provide an opportunity to develop valuable skills and build a long-term career in manufacturing.
