Year-Round Housekeeping & Barn Crew – State Fair Park

Location: State Fair Park – Oklahoma City, OK
Employment Type: Temporary, year-round event assignments
Pay Schedule: Paid weekly every Wednesday
Schedule Release: Every Monday at 9:00 AM

Force Personnel Services, LLC. is hiring dependable candidates for year-round housekeeping, event support, and barn crew assignments at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City.

State Fair Park hosts livestock shows, competitions, conventions, trade shows, community gatherings, and other large events throughout the year. Force Personnel employees help prepare the facilities, support active events, and keep the property clean, organized, and welcoming for visitors.

These positions are separate from the annual Oklahoma State Fair. Work may be available throughout the year based on State Fair Park’s event calendar and weekly staffing needs.

One of the biggest benefits of this opportunity is that employees are paid weekly every Wednesday for hours worked during the previous payroll period.

Available Shifts

State Fair Park operates around the clock during many events. Available shifts may include:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Shift availability may change from week to week depending on upcoming events and State Fair Park’s staffing needs.

Housekeeping Crew Responsibilities

Housekeeping employees help maintain clean, safe, and presentable facilities before, during, and after events.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Sweeping and mopping floors

  • Cleaning and restocking public bathrooms

  • Emptying trash containers

  • Cleaning event areas, hallways, offices, and public spaces

  • Wiping down surfaces and high-traffic areas

  • Assisting with event setup and teardown

  • Moving tables, chairs, supplies, and equipment

  • Completing cleanup after events

  • Performing additional housekeeping or janitorial duties as assigned

Housekeeping candidates should be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and completing repetitive cleaning duties throughout the shift.

Barn Crew Responsibilities

Barn crew employees perform physical labor inside and around livestock barns and event areas.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Lifting, carrying, and moving heavy fencing panels

  • Setting up and taking down livestock pens

  • Sweeping manure, hay, dirt, and other debris

  • Cleaning stalls, walkways, and barn areas

  • Moving equipment, supplies, and event materials

  • Assisting with barn preparation and post-event cleanup

  • Working around livestock, dust, odors, hay, and manure

  • Performing additional general labor duties as assigned

Barn crew candidates must be able to complete physically demanding work and repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials throughout the shift.

Weekly Scheduling Process

Force Personnel provides schedules every Monday morning at 9:00 AM for the upcoming week.

Assignments are based on State Fair Park’s event schedule and current labor needs. Because events change throughout the year:

  • Weekly hours are not guaranteed

  • The number of available shifts may increase or decrease

  • Employees may work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift

  • Shift times and assignment lengths may vary

  • Assignments may change with limited notice

  • Some weeks may have several available shifts

  • Other weeks may have limited or no available work

  • Weekend and holiday assignments may be available

Candidates with flexible availability and the ability to work multiple shifts may have access to more opportunities.

Weekly Pay Every Wednesday

Employees working these assignments are paid weekly every Wednesday.

There is no need to wait two weeks or an entire month for a paycheck. Eligible hours are processed through Force Personnel’s weekly payroll system, allowing employees to receive consistent weekly pay.

To avoid payroll delays, employees must:

  • Report to every accepted shift

  • Clock in and out correctly

  • Follow all timekeeping procedures

  • Communicate any timecard issues to Force Personnel immediately

  • Keep their direct-deposit or pay-card information current

Again, these positions are paid every Wednesday, making them a strong option for candidates looking for flexible work with dependable weekly pay.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified candidates should be:

  • Dependable and able to report to work on time

  • Comfortable working a schedule that may change weekly

  • Willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift when available

  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

  • Willing to complete physical and repetitive work

  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Able to bend, lift, push, pull, sweep, and mop

  • Comfortable working around large crowds and active events

  • Comfortable working in livestock barns and public facilities

  • Comfortable working around manure, hay, dust, odors, and changing temperatures

  • Able to maintain a professional and positive attitude

Previous housekeeping, janitorial, event setup, warehouse, landscaping, farm, livestock, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.
