Inventory Specialist
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Inventory Specialist moves a wide variety of parts, materials and product through the organization and documents the parts and material movement in the ERP system. Supports company goals regarding inventory accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to use material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and dollies to bring products and materials to an appropriate location
Receives materials into the organization and verifies materials against purchase orders to ensure the accuracy of the delivery.
Participates in routing, counting and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks. Delivers and returns items.
Performs cycle counts based on the count plan from the ERP system.
Identifies root cause of cycle count discrepancies and recommends corrective action.
Monitors inventory and reports quantity discrepancies to supervisor or manager.
Issues materials to departments in the organization upon request. This involves transacting inventory quantities to the department and delivering the parts to the work area.

QUALIFICATIONS / PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor s degree a plus
3-5 years related experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work performed is in a non-climate-controlled facility with moderate noise levels that exceed OSHA limits requiring a hearing conservation program.
Must be able to lift 25 50 lbs.
Must be able to walk, talk, sit, stand, and communicate verbally continuously throughout the scheduled shift.
Ability to work overtime when necessary.
