Job Title: Machinist

Job Summary: We are seeking exceptional candidates to join our team as Machinists. As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the various stages of the machining process, ensuring the production of high-quality machined parts at maximum output. If you have a passion for precision machining, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.

Skills Required: To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of manual and/or CNC machining techniques.

  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to producing quality work.

  • Ability to follow specific instructions accurately.

  • Outstanding multitasking and prioritization abilities.

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding program codes, specifically G & M codes.

  • Experience in setting up machines for efficient production.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate project requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Essential Job Functions: As a Machinist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting up machines to run parts efficiently and accurately.

  • Operating CNC and/or manual machines such as mills and lathes.

  • Performing routine maintenance on machines as required.

  • Deciphering job orders and blueprints to determine machining requirements.

  • Identifying and verifying various parts, tools, and materials needed for machining processes.

  • Utilizing measuring devices like calipers and gauges to ensure precision and accuracy.

  • Taking accountability for the quality of machined parts, tooling, and supplies.

  • Verifying the accuracy of paperwork and documentation related to machining operations.

  • Adjusting fixturing, machines, and threads to meet required tolerances on parts.

  • Conducting periodic inspections of tools, parts, and equipment to identify any inaccuracies or deficiencies.

  • Maintaining a strong commitment to safety protocols and remaining safety-conscious at all times.

  • Reading programs, specifically G & M codes, to execute machining operations effectively.
