Position: Plastic Molding Machine Operator

As a Plastic Molding Machine Operator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping plastic materials through injection molding processes.
Key Responsibilities: As a Plastic Molding Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery that shapes plastic and other materials through injection molding processes. Your duties will include:
Operating plastic molding and casting machines to produce high-quality products.
Crafting metal or thermoplastic parts using molds.
Contributing to the design and development of new molds, molding techniques, and process improvements.
Ensuring precise pouring of materials into molds and removing cured products.
Inspecting products for surface defects and flaws, ensuring conformance to specifications.
Positioning and securing mold components for efficient operation.
Eliminating the production of defective parts through meticulous monitoring.
Regulating molding temperature, volume, pressure, and time for optimal results.
Activating machines to perform injection molding processes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field.
Proficiency in operating plastic molding machines and injection molding processes.
Environment: Work will be conducted in a non-climate-controlled facility with moderate noise levels that exceed OSHA limits, requiring adherence to a hearing conservation program. The role demands the ability to move continuously throughout the shift, performing tasks such as walking, talking, sitting, and standing. Flexibility to work overtime when necessary is essential.
Schedule: The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required. Shift options include:
7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
3:50 PM to 12:10 AM
11:30 PM to 8:10 AM
