Job description
Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40-50 hour weeks. Mandatory overtime on occasions.
Job Summary: The Nozzle Assembly Technician will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Machine Department, focusing on various stages of the nozzle assembly process for safety relief valves. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with tools and equipment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.

kills Required:
Proficiency in assembling and staking nozzles for safety relief valves.
Ability to verify orders and parts against documentation.
Maintain logs and other paperwork associated with nozzle assembly and staking.
Competence in reading prints, charts, calipers, and micrometers.
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Adjust fixturing as needed for accuracy.
Experience working with various equipment such as lathes, hydraulic presses, and hand tools.
Ability to inspect tools and equipment for accuracy and deficiencies.
Experience in stamping valves and valve parts appropriately.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with multiple individuals.
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise the work performed by sub assembly staff.
Practice and enforce safety protocols as defined by company policy.
Evaluate employee performance and aid in their improvement.
Lead the department by managing work flow and handling task assignments.
Hold meetings to communicate new information, ideas, and assignments to employees.
Track work orders and meet production deadlines.
Establish priority of work based on production demands and schedule.
Keep employees motivated and productive, addressing any issues that may arise.
Perform all essential job functions in the department.
Suggest areas for improvement.
Report any safety issues, tooling needs, and employee issues to the Manufacturing Assistant Manager.
Verify the accuracy of paperwork and track job orders.
Support and assist in other Assembly Departments as needed based on production demands.
Work with other Assembly Supervisors to organize workload and personnel to optimize labor usage per production demands.
Operate a forklift and golf cart as needed to complete job tasks.
Requirements:
Must pass an entirely clean drug panel (No Medicinal Marijuana permitted).
Must pass a national background check (No felonies whatsoever).
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Valid driver's license.
