Job Title: Quality Control Inspector II

Job Description:

As a Quality Control Inspector II, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that quality standards are diligently monitored and enforced across various core, support, and ancillary routine business functions, including Engineering, Designing, Production, Sales, and Suppliers. By performing thorough inspections and accurately reporting your findings, you will contribute to the maintenance of our high-quality standards and enable continuous quality improvements.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30Am - 4:30 Pm - 1 hour lunch break

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections in the following areas and effectively report the results: a. Final Inspection b. First Article Inspection c. Incoming Inspection d. In-process Inspection

  • Utilize the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) to document and communicate inspection findings.

  • File and retrieve approved Material Test Reports (MTRs) as required.

  • Ensure traceability of thread gauges with vendors and the machine shop.

  • Enforce established Operating Policies and Procedures as necessary.

  • Maintain the quality of products and processes to facilitate ongoing Quality Improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings accurately.

  • Proficiency in using various measurement devices, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pressure gauges, etc.

  • Experience with database software, Excel spreadsheet software, and word processing software.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Knowledge:

  • 2-3 years of Quality Control inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 requirements.

  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints and utilize inspection tools effectively.

  • Knowledge of Corrective Action Report (CAR) and Prevention Action Report (PAR).
