Position Summary:

We're seeking a Shop and Equipment Technician to join our team at Force Personnel. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, contributing to a positive experience for our customers, visitors, and employees, all while upholding the highest safety and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Shop and Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of our facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely.

• Diagnosing and repairing equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

• Delivering parts and equipment to customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

• Keeping all yard and shop areas meticulously clean, adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

• Performing regular cleaning and maintenance of driveway, sidewalks, and equipment.

• Conducting basic maintenance and cleaning of forklifts and other power equipment.

• Managing trash receptacles, collecting scrap, and maintaining an organized yard.

• Ensuring compliance with hazardous material handling laws and immediately reporting any deviations to management.

• Undertaking routine building maintenance with minimal disruption to customers and employees.

• Communicating with supervisors regarding needed materials, supplies, and additional work.

• Upholding the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct in all tasks.

• Demonstrating a professional appearance in accordance with company policy.

• Attending relevant training sessions and company meetings as required.

• Performing other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

• A clean driving record and eligibility for coverage under the company's vehicle insurance policy.

• At least 1 year of experience operating a Sit Down Diesel Forklift.

• Reliability, a self-motivated attitude, and a strong desire to learn and grow within a well-established service company.

• Dedication to maintaining a safe, organized, and professional environment.

• An eye for detail and a commitment to upholding cleanliness standards.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

• Benefits: The company provides 100% coverage for employee insurance, including 401(k), dental, health, life, vision insurance, and paid time off.

Schedule: Monday through Friday regularly, eventually will be on call 24/7. No set schedule, but plenty of overtime available.

Oklahoma City, OK:

Reliable commuting or the intention to relocate to Oklahoma City before starting work is required.
