Description:

Join our team as a Valve Repair Tech Trainee and embark on an exciting journey in the world of valve maintenance and repair. As a valued member of our Valve Repair Department, you will assist in testing and repairing relief valves, both in our well-equipped shop and out in the field. Responsibilities:

• Dis-Assembly of Valves.

• Performs sandblasting.

• Cleans Valves.

• Inspects Valves.

• Properly documents testing, repairing, and information from the nameplates on the relief valve.

• Demonstrates excellent customer relations abilities.

• Performs shop maintenance.

• Performs re-machining or lapping.

• Travels with mobile unit.

• Climbs up to 100ft.

• Lifts up to 75lbs.

• Wears a respirator when required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to completely repair spring-loaded relief valves.

• Must have a working knowledge of pilot relief valves.

• Leadership abilities.

• Ability to accurately complete all documentation required.

• Capability of sandblasting, cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, re-machining, and lapping valves.

• Capable of lifting up to 75lbs.

• Ability to physically and medically wear a respirator.

• Ability to travel up to two weeks per month.

• Must complete Training Program.
