Description:
Join our team as a Valve Repair Tech Trainee and embark on an exciting journey in the world of valve maintenance and repair. As a valued member of our Valve Repair Department, you will assist in testing and repairing relief valves, both in our well-equipped shop and out in the field. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals while contributing to the success of our thriving organization.
Responsibilities:
Dis-Assembly of Valves.
Performs sandblasting.
Cleans Valves.
Inspects Valves.
Properly documents testing, repairing, and information from the nameplates on the relief valve.
Demonstrates excellent customer relations abilities.
Performs shop maintenance.
Performs re-machining or lapping.
Travels with mobile unit.
Climbs up to 100ft.
Lifts up to 75lbs.
Wears a respirator when required.
Qualifications:
Ability to completely repair spring-loaded relief valves.
Must have a working knowledge of pilot relief valves.
Leadership abilities.
Ability to accurately complete all documentation required.
Capability of sandblasting, cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, re-machining, and lapping valves.
Capable of lifting up to 75lbs.
Ability to physically and medically wear a respirator.
Ability to travel up to two weeks per month.
Must complete Training Program.
