Warehouse Representative

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
Pay: $16.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience
Employment Type: Temporary-to-Hire

Position Overview

Force Personnel is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Representative for a well-established Oklahoma City company.

This is a full-time, hands-on warehouse position for someone who takes pride in accuracy, productivity, and completing orders correctly. The selected candidate will be responsible for pulling and assembling customer orders, operating a forklift, stocking materials, checking product quality, and assisting with the overall organization and flow of the warehouse.

This position will also include light computer work related to orders, inventory, and warehouse documentation. Candidates do not need advanced technical experience, but they must be comfortable learning basic computer systems and accurately entering or reviewing information.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Pull products and materials according to customer orders

  • Assemble and prepare orders accurately

  • Review order tickets and verify item quantities

  • Audit completed orders for accuracy and quality

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely

  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials

  • Stock incoming products in the correct warehouse locations

  • Disperse materials to the appropriate departments or work areas

  • Maintain accurate inventory and product placement

  • Inspect products for damage, defects, or incorrect specifications

  • Complete quality-control checks before orders leave the warehouse

  • Perform light computer work related to orders and inventory

  • Enter, review, or update basic warehouse information

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

  • Follow all company safety rules and warehouse procedures

  • Assist coworkers and other departments as needed

  • Perform heavy lifting throughout the shift

  • Complete additional duties based on daily business needs

 

Order Pulling and Assembly

The Warehouse Representative will be responsible for locating the correct materials, pulling the proper quantities, and preparing complete orders for customers.

Attention to detail is extremely important. Candidates must be able to compare products and quantities against order paperwork, identify mistakes, and correct discrepancies before an order is completed.

The selected candidate must be comfortable working with different products, sizes, materials, measurements, and order requirements.

Forklift and Warehouse Equipment

Forklift experience is strongly preferred. Candidates may be responsible for operating forklifts to:

  • Move incoming and outgoing products

  • Stock materials

  • Retrieve products from warehouse locations

  • Organize inventory

  • Assist with loading and unloading

  • Place materials safely and accurately

All equipment must be operated according to company safety procedures. Candidates must demonstrate good judgment, awareness of their surroundings, and respect for coworkers working nearby.

Computer and Technical Requirements

This position includes minimal technical and computer responsibilities.

Candidates should be able to:

  • Use a basic computer system

  • Review digital order information

  • Enter simple inventory or order details

  • Print or review order paperwork

  • Learn the company’s internal processes

  • Identify basic order or inventory discrepancies

Advanced computer knowledge is not required. However, candidates must be willing to learn and must be able to enter information accurately.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be physically capable of performing demanding warehouse work throughout the shift.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Frequent standing and walking

  • Repeated bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling

  • Climbing or using warehouse access equipment when required

  • Lifting and carrying heavy materials

  • Moving products individually or with assistance

  • Handling long, awkward, or bulky items

  • Working at a steady and productive pace

  • Performing repetitive warehouse movements

Candidates must be able to safely lift heavy materials associated with the position. Team lifting and equipment should be used when required.

Warehouse Environment

This position is performed primarily in a warehouse environment.

Candidates must be able to work in changing temperatures, including:

  • Hot summer warehouse conditions

  • Cold winter warehouse conditions

  • Areas that may not be fully climate-controlled

  • Dusty or noisy working conditions

  • Indoor and outdoor loading areas

Candidates should arrive prepared for the weather and wear appropriate work clothing and required safety equipment.

Qualifications

  • Strong recent and verifiable work history

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality

  • Previous warehouse, order-pulling, shipping, receiving, stocking, or material-handling experience

  • Forklift experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to read and follow order paperwork

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to count and verify product quantities

  • Basic computer skills

  • Willingness to learn company products and procedures

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to complete heavy physical work

  • Ability to work in hot and cold warehouse conditions

  • Strong safety awareness

Experience with building materials, millwork, lumber, doors, trim, manufacturing, distribution, or similar products is helpful but not required.

Screening Requirements

Candidates must be able to successfully complete:

  • A pre-employment drug screening

  • A criminal background check

  • Employment history verification

Background history will be reviewed individually based on the nature, age, frequency, and job-relatedness of any offenses. The client is primarily focused on finding candidates with a stable recent work history, dependable attendance, and a demonstrated commitment to moving forward positively.

Schedule and Overtime

This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position.

The regular schedule is expected to be during daytime business hours. Mandatory overtime may occasionally be required based on customer orders, workload, or business needs.

Overtime may include:

  • Working past the normal end of the shift

  • Arriving early when needed

  • Occasional weekend work

Candidates must have reasonable schedule flexibility and be willing to assist the team when business demands increase.

Temporary-to-Hire Opportunity

This position is expected to begin as a temporary-to-hire assignment. The evaluation period will likely last approximately three to six months before the selected candidate becomes eligible for permanent employment with the client company.

Permanent hiring will be based on factors including:

  • Attendance and punctuality

  • Productivity

  • Ability to learn warehouse procedures

Pay and Advancement

Starting pay is expected to range from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on previous experience, forklift skills, warehouse knowledge, and overall qualifications.

The company recognizes employees who demonstrate strong production, dependability, accuracy, and initiative. Merit- and production-based raises may be available as employees grow within the position and demonstrate their value to the team.

Candidates with strong leadership skills may also have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time.
